Analysieren und Suchen wir doch ein wenig...
Erste Anlaufstelle: Das Companieshouse in UK:
Da gibt also jemand richtig Gas mit seinem "Startup".

2x sogar.
Reaktion: NULL. Es passierrt nix. Der Spam geht munter weiter. Spammer-typisches Verhalten also.

“Hi FirstName, you may like to know the smartest way to get the best take-home pay.”
Remaining content is the same as in the previously shown message about "take home payment assessment".
On their trustpilot replies they stated that a ticketnumber would be sent back for any request to
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ], but that seems to be another blatant lie from this spamming outfit, as for each mail I sent to them, I never received any reply at all. Not even a ticket number.
Another interesting sidenote: Their "WebSite" whois:Jobzooma.com does not contain any "About Us" or "Contact Us" Page, just the "Privacy Policy" and "Terms and Conditions" pages. Which IMHO is another indication for an enterprise primarily focused on spam as its core business.
jobzooma.com Reminder to update a profile I never created
I like it, when whois:jobzooma.com sends their regular "<firstName>, Please update your profile for GDPR compliance" E-Mail, because it keeps this thread fresh and increases its Google-Ranking

So, with less than a week to go, Jobzoma still tries to save its investment in the data it bought from iProfile - by spamming and asking to verify the data...
There is a concept of "sunk cost" in economics. This money is gone...
Nice try, Jobzooma.
Jobzooma.me.uk / jobzooma.com spam "IR35 take home pay assessment"
(This spam email was sent on May 22nd, only three days to go until DSGVO/GDPR went into force)
This time, they re-worded and made their spam mail a bit prettier... but did not give any imprint or contact information in the mail body text - it might be in the pictures being loaded, but who is loading the full content of spam emails?

Again, feel free to complain to
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ] or maybe also
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ], their support on the trustpilot site will also ask you to mail them - and then blame you when their ticketing system never received your email... Probably those mails go directly to /dev/null. I sent them two emails, and never ever got a reply. If the emails would not have been delivered, my mailprovider usually sends a "non-delivery" notification. Gues what, never received such a notification for my Emails to jobzooma...
Basically, what they do on trustpilot is "listwashing" - asking people to contact them, instead of just stopping their spamming alltogether...
If their spamming stops after May 25th remains still to be seen.
(Edit:typos)
Even after May 25th, Jobzooma.com / Jobzooma.me.uk keeps on spamming
Even after May 25th, when everybody and his brother has asked for consent to continue storing my data, Jobzooma, now without explicit or implicit consent, keeps on spamming!

So, again, no imprint, no contact details (maybe in the graphics not loaded), and: NO CONSENT !
NO CONSENT because Jobzooma in their other mails asked me to update my profile (and therefore consent), which I never did.
Everybody else and his brother would and should have deleted my data by now. But not Jobzooma! They are different.
They aren't "The UK's fastest growing job board", oh no, they are "The UK's fastest growing spammer".

Well,
and would like to know what you would like us to do with your data
Dear JobZooma, I have emailed you twice at
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ] and asked for removal from your database.
I got no reply and you keep on spamming.
The (currently unverified) process for removal from their database seems to be:
Write a bad review on
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ]
Wait for jobzooma to reply, asking you to put "trustpilot" and your trustpilot userId into the subject line of an email to
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ]
Send the requested Email to
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ]
Hope to be removed
Some more people are getting it. See:
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ] -> "utterly disgraceful business".
On trustpilot the "description" of Jobzooma reads:
The UK's fastest growing job board. Better for candidates, better for employers. Over 4 million candidates over 100,000 jobs.
which might imply that they "purchased" 4 Million profiles from iProfile and now listwash them one bad trustpilot review at a time.
At least 3.999.973 more bad reviews to go.
This time I'll spare you the quote of the full body text, begging me to help them to get GDPR compliant.
Let's have some fun today with some technical details on email, hosting, delivery, mx-records etc. Just for the fun of it, ok?
(You might better stop reading here, if technical details frighten you. You have been warned :-))
Jobzooma, in their replies at TrustPilot makes it sound like people are too stupid to send them emails:
We answer all tickets that we receive in to our support desk, and can only assume that your requests did not reach us. Our support desk email address is
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ].
Sounds like this guy was not able to hit "reply" in his mail program to send an email to jobzooma, doesn't it?
See the Email header above? It has a line
header:
01: Reply-To: Jobzooma Support <support [at] jobzooma.com>
which means: hit "reply" in your mail program and your mail goes to
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ]. Just as they tell everybody.
But they do not seem to receive these emails. They only receive these emails (at least they make it sound like they only receive them), when you put "trustpilot" in the subject line. hahaha.
But wait, there's more!
Who is handling the email traffic for jobzooma, maybe they are using an email provider who constantly loses emails?
Let's have a look: (DNS entries for "mx-records" tell you the host(s) that are handling the email for this domain.)
Non-authoritative answer:
jobzooma.com mail exchanger = 5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.com. jobzooma.com mail exchanger = 1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.com.
jobzooma.com mail exchanger = 10 ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.com.
jobzooma.com mail exchanger = 10 ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.com.
jobzooma.com mail exchanger = 5 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.com.
Aha, so their primary mailserver is ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.com. These MX-Records shown are the ones you need to put into your DNS settings, when you are using GMail or "G Suite" as an email hosting provider. See here:
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ]
So we can safely assume, email to
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ] ends up on googles servers. Would you expect google to lose their emails? I wouldn't.
Well, as I have sent them two emails quite a while ago, maybe they just switched to google and their previous provider lost all their emails?
Let's find out since when whois:jobzooma.com email is hosted on google:
The "serial = 2016113002" is the entry we're after. This serial, if their DNS admin is somehow capable of doing his job, means that it got last updated on 2016-11-30, for 2 times on that day. So we can safely assume that jobzooma is using google hosted email since end of november 2016.
And, for the fun of it, maybe people were really too stupid to press the reply button?
What, if the email adress they were sending to at jobzooma, never existed?
We can test for that as well. As I am administering somebody else's email that is also hosted on google, just like jobzooma's, I just sent an email to an unexisting adress.
This is the reply I got from my email provider:
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of
its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es)
failed:
nonexistingadress [at] EmailHostedByGoogle.com:

550-5.1.1 unnecessary spaces. Learn more at

[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ] <some other info omitted here>
So again, people complaining that jobzoome never answers their email are quite right. At least my email provider would have told me, if
[Link nur für registrierte Mitglieder sichtbar. ] never existed or the email could not be delivered. But they didn't. Email got delivered. Whatever jobzooma then did with it we may never know. (Did they check their spam folder??)
Dear Jobzooma!
Google knows how to run email.
You must be sitting on boatloads of complaints that you have not dealt with or refuse to deal with, including the two mails I sent you.
Anything else is a blatant lie from your side.
As jobzooma is very keen on keeping this thread alive, I happily post it for our enjoyment.
They seem to slightly modify the From, ReplyTo: and Subject-Lines every time. I don't know what for, so I have cleaned them up a bit...
Regarding my last post: Their email ist hosted at Google ever since whois:jobzooma.com got registered.
(And they claim that they do not receive messages being sent to them. Google losing their mails? hahaha.)
One quite interesting blogentry about jobzooma, their history and business practices:
