Hi,
I am Mr. Alexander J. Brindle and I am the manager of the First National
Bank of Houston, Texas. I have a business proposition for you. In
August 1983, a 70-year-old retiree, Frank Shutko made a fixed deposit
with our bank. It was a revolving deposit that matured every 12 months.
The deposit was for the sum of $3.65 million. Every year on maturity, we
sent a routine notification to Mr. Shutko and he invariably asked that
we hold the deposit for another 12 months. Last year, however, when we
sent the notification we got no reply from him. After enquiries we
discovered Mr. Shutko had died on Saturday, July 17, 2004. Please refer
to this website for details of his unfortunate demise:-

Before his death Mr. Shutko had privately informed my accountant and I
that he dID: [ID filtered]
explained that he had already made bequests to them but that yet all
they were doing was waiting, like vultures for him to die. We found this
strange until he further informed us that none of the members of his
family knew of the existence of this account and he wanted the state of
affairs to stay that way.
On his death our inquiries revealed that he died intestate [without
making a last will and testament]. As a result of this the money is
still sitting in the Bank and the interest is being rolled over with the
principal sum at the end of each year. My proposal is that my colleague
[the accountant] and I would like you to stand in as the next of kin to
the deceased depositor, Mr. Shutko. We have studied other similar claims
from the past to understand what is required. If you are interested,
please reply immediately and we shall furnish you with further details
of what the matter involves.
Yours truly,
Alex
