Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your mail regarding Advanced Fee Fraud (or 419 letters as they are known). We would advise that you contact your local constabulary`s fraud squad or commercial crimes unit. Each constabulary throughout the UK has a dedicated officer to whom you should forward such communications under the title of "West African Organised Crime".
You should not, under any circumstances, reply to the fraudsters responsible for sending out these communications. If you have entered into communication with the fraudsters, have met them or sent them money please contact the National Criminal Intelligence Service (NCIS) at victim@spring39.demon.co.uk or by telephone on 020 7238 8012.
